Interpreter Services

Information on arranging confidential interpreters for GP appointments, available in-person or over the phone.

If you need an interpreter for your GP appointments, let your GP practice know when you register or when booking an appointment. Clear communication is essential for both you and your healthcare professional to ensure you receive the best possible care.

Interpreters may join your appointment in two ways:

  • In person: The interpreter will meet you at the surgery for your consultation.
  • Over the phone: The interpreter will assist remotely during your appointment.

All interpreting services are completely confidential, ensuring your privacy and trust are maintained at all times.
